Abstract
EV vehicle (Electric) is one of the feasible technologies to solve the problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution. An electric vehicle is a zero emission vehicle powered by a vehicle powered battery. In recent years, the development of electric vehicles has risen all over the world, and gradually developed to the direction of commercial production in small quantities. The development of electric vehicle technology depends on the progress of multidisciplinary technology. Especially, the problem to be solved is to further improve the power performance, increase the mileage and reduce the cost. Based on some basic parameters of micro fuel automobile, the drive mode of vehicle and the general layout of vehicle are studied. The dynamic matching calculation of the whole vehicle and the selection of the main components are carried out. According to the dynamic performance requirements, the main parameters design and matching calculation of the motor power, transmission ratio and the storage battery are done by using the automobile theory, the motor and the battery related knowledge.
Key words: electric vehicles, overall design, parameter matching, continued mileage

Chapter 1-Introduction
1.1 Electric vehicle development history
Electric cars are one of the oldest cars in the world, appeared more than half an century earlier than the internal-combustion engines. In 1832~1839, Robert Anderson, a Scotland businessman, developed electric power with a battery that could not be charged.
In 1835, Holland professor Si Bo Lance Brandus (Si Stratingh) designed a small electric vehicle - the use of Faraday electromagnetic induction principle of an electric tricycle assembled.
In 1847, the farmer made the first electric vehicle without batteries, powered by batteries and carried two people. He put the motor mounted on a wheeled vehicle, battery powered by 48 grove. It was the first known electric car in the history of the United states. In 1861, Emperor baccino designed ring grooved armature, and increase the output torque. On this basis, Gram invented the ring slot closed armature, which constitutes the basic structure of modern DC motor. During this period, the development of DC motor technology opened the era of rapid development of electric vehicles.
France and Britain became the first countries to support the development of electric vehicles, as Austria inventor Franz Kravogl launched a two wheel drive electric car at the Paris world's fair in 1867. In 1873, Robert Davidson (Robert Davidson) produced the world's first generation of practical electric cars. This is ten years earlier than the German Daimler Benz and KarlBenz. The electric car invented by Davidson was a truck with a long 4800mm and a width of 1800mm, a battery operated with iron, zinc, amalgam, and sulfuric acid. Since then, two rechargeable batteries have been applied since 1880. From the development of an electronic meter pool to a two battery, it shows a major technological change in the development of electric vehicles, thus the demand for electric vehicles has been greatly improved. In the second half of the nineteenth Century, electric vehicles became an important tool for transportation and wrote a brilliant page about the history of electric vehicles in the history of human transportation.
Earlier, Gaston Plante developed a better battery performance in France in 1865, and its fellow Camille Holmes improved the battery in 1880, improved battery capacity, paving the way for the further development of electric vehicles. In the same year, the company produced a practical electric vehicle powered by batteries. At the end of the nineteenth Century to the early twentieth Century is the golden age of the electric vehicle, France and Britain have appeared electric car manufacturing company, in April 29, 1899, the Belgian Camille Jenatzy was driving a car called the La Jamais Contente shell shape in the world of electric vehicles, the vehicle maximum speed of 105.88 km / hour speed brush by the new gasoline powered engines to keep the speed records. This is the first time the car speed exceeded 100 km / hour. During this period, sales of electric vehicles went beyond gasoline power vehicles, and became the city's favorite car. The electric car is clean, quiet, and easy to control. It's very suitable for women driving. At that time, in Europe and the United States and other countries, electric cars are "elite", "noble" standard, from Europe, the royal family to the United States, high-end customers are full of praise for electric vehicles.
