摘 要

在当今经济全球化的背景之下，航海技术作为国家具有国际竞争力的高级航海人才的专业，其英语水平的重要性不言而喻。“航海英语听力与会话”作为航海技术专业的本科生的必修课程，进行全英语教学是非常重要和必要的。专业英语课全英语教学是专业知识传授和专业英语应用的综合体现，教学的重点是利用英语来传授专业知识，培养学生利用英语思考问题、解决问题、以及对科学问题进行交流与讨论的能力，因此必须要寻求专业教育和语言教育的高效融合。本文通过对国内外相关文献的研究，以及对航海技术专业卓越班学生的调研，对“航海英语听力与会话”课程教学的现状进行分析，追根溯源，为解决当前“航海英语听力与会话”课程的困境，提出了一种教学模式——全英语教学，并对其课堂模式进行设计改进，从理论及实践证明该种模式的可行性。本文阐述了“航海英语听力与会话”全英语教学内容以及重点内容，结合其他学科全英语专业课程建设的经验，对目前“航海英语听力与会话”课程的教学方法进行了分析。在此基础上，进行了“航海英语听力与会话”课程的全英语教学方法改革探讨，以提升全英语教学效果。

Abstract

Under the background of economic globalization，navigation technology is very important to train senior navigation talents for China. As a required course for undergraduates majoring in navigation technology, "maritime English listening and conversation" is very important and necessary. The whole English Teaching of professional English course is a comprehensive embodiment of the teaching of professional knowledge and the application of professional English. The focus of teaching is to use English to impart professional knowledge, cultivate students' ability of thinking, solving problems and communicating and discussing scientific problems in English. Therefore, it is necessary to seek the efficient integration of professional education and language education. In this paper, literature and questionnaire survey are used to analyze the current situation of Maritime English Teaching. In order to solve the dilemma of Maritime English, a new teaching mode of Maritime English is put forward——All English Teaching . the classroom model is designed and improved to prove the feasibility of this model from theory and practice. This paper expounds the whole English teaching content and key content of "maritime English listening and conversation", and analyzes the current teaching methods of "maritime English listening and conversation" based on the experience of the whole English course construction of other disciplines. On this basis, this paper discusses the reform of the whole English teaching method of "listening and speaking in Maritime English", in order to improve the whole English teaching effect.

第1章 绪论

航海技术是培养具有国际竞争力的高级航海人才的专业。由于专业的国际性，其专业课程不仅仅局限于驾驶技术的学习，与世界各地的船员进行工作交流也非常重要，于是航海英语就成为了该专业中一门非常重要的课程。同时航海英语作为海证考试中重要的一科，每年的一次通过率不是非常理想^[9]。在这种情况下，航海英语的教学困境日益凸显——在有限的课时内，学生无法通过现有的教学模式提升自身的航海英语水平并且顺利通过海证考试。

“航海英语听力与会话”课程致力于提高学生的听力与会话能力。“航海英语听力与会话”的主要使用场景是“船对船”、“船对岸”通信，具备高度行业化的特点，属于专业英语的范畴，其中有些词汇仅限于船舶作业，与日常英语有很大的不同。再者，在现如今的课程设置下，学生不能很好地模拟“航海英语听力与会话”的使用情景，学生在词汇上不会灵活运用，最后间接导致学生兴趣低下。伴随着我国海证考试模式的革新和当代大学生学习规律的变化, 现时代对航海技术专业的“航海英语听力与会话”教学有了更高标准的要求。如何在课时、教师等条件不变的情况下，提高航海技术专业学生的专业英语的应试和应用水平，正日益成为一个难题。本文旨在讨论和探索一种航海技术卓越班全英语教学模式，以提高航海技术专业学生的专业英语水平。

1.1 国内外研究现状

1.1.1 “航海英语听力与会话”教学现状

目前，我国“航海英语听力与会话”课堂教学是以通过海证考试为导向进行的，但却忽视了航海英语最重要的应用能力，进而导致了学生的持证与适任能力出现偏差。许多用人单位反馈大量通过海证考试的毕业生不具备使用航海英语进行工作沟通的能力。^[1]航海英语的教学方式也与传统英语教学无异，老师授课的重心仍然是单词的教学，但是航海技术专业的全球性特质，决定其专业学生的听说能力是重中之重，其教学需要满足学生本科毕业后能够胜任远洋航行或者在外籍船舶上使用英语交流的要求。当前这种以通过海证考试为导向的“航海英语听力与会话”教学，显然是违背了其教学的初衷。
