To achieve thispurpose, this paper conducts a systematic research and analysis on metaphoricalmeaning and corresponding translation by comparing different translationversions of a same verb or phrase and their respective effects in differentarticles according to a self-compiled corpus. Finally, this paper makes a briefsummary about some ways of translation of metaphorical meaning in differentcontexts.
