1. 研究目的与意义(文献综述)
the purpose of the thesis:
the society of materials and fierce job competition has witnessed the issue of the spoken english of english major student a heated debate among general public. there are higher requirement for job seekers or the graduates who go in for the re-examination. therefore, speaking english fluently is crucial for the every english major students and if they can take advantages of the spoken english, they will have greater competitiveness. however, there is a problem among the students, that is the majority of students can’t meet the requirements of the enterprise or the college. the main reason i analyse is the different teaching measure has different effects, so the teaching measure is taking an important part for teaching of speaking. oral english teaching is not satisfactory and many teachers face a problrm of considering how to develop learners' oral english proficiency. thus, to find ways of systematically and practically improving oral english teaching, the paper, chiefly based on constructivism, investigates both the current situation of and problems in oral english teaching for chinese english majors, and provided suggestions for teaching oral english course.
2. 研究的基本内容与方案
the research contents:
along with the increasing requirement of society to the students english ability, college students' english learning should focus on students' practical english comprehensive ability,especially for the purpose of the ability of oral communication.. my paper mainly research the problems in current teaching of speaking to english major students of universities in wuhan area and put forward the relevent suggestion from the social cultural theory. oral english is put forward into a higher level to meet the rapid development of science and technology. especially to the fresh graduate students, oral english is often used as an entrance test to some companies. those who can communicate with recruiters fluently of course have more chance to be selected by the company. english speaking is more flexible and flexible, and is freely used for different occasions. written english is a language developed on the basis of spoken language and used in written language. english teachers provide an environment and activities for learning, practicing spoken english, and instructing english learners to learn oral english. in my paper, i will focus on the oral teaching activities and analyse the problems and situation of the english major students through the questionnaire survey.
