Lindsey salmon, as the second child of theSalmons, not only experience the loss of a sister, but also the loss ofattention from parents as well as the loss of a warm family. Confronting suchhuge changes in life, Lindsey accomplishes her post-traumatic growth. This paperaims to analyse Lindsey’s post-traumatic growth from five positive responses infive areas mentioned by Sebold and Calhoun in their ThePost-traumatic Growth Inventory. The five positive responses are appreciation of life, relationships with others, newpossibilities in life, personal strength, and spiritual change.
