Methods and Procedures of the Study

In order to have a good analysis of the subject, some works, articles have been read before my starting this paper, which can be found in the library or on the Internet. What#8217;s more, since there is a film adapted from the original work, it helps me a lot with understanding the story and adaptation. Then I searched for the information about the writer as well as the writing background so that the book will be analyzed clearly. This thesis consists of four parts. In the first chapter, a brief introduction of Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland and Tim Burdon#8217;s film adaptation . Some studies of this area will listed in the second chapter of the literature review. The third chapter will focus on analyzing the the theory of adaptation. In the last chapter, the significance of this study and suggestions for the future society will be offered.
