Thispaper mainly focuses on the collisionand fusion between Chinese and western cultures by analyzing the images of fourpairs of mother and daughter who were in the background of mixedChinese-American cultures. The analysis can be presented by the perspective ofthe growth of individual characters and the perspective of emotionalexpressions, the perspective of home values and the perspective of the view ofmarriage, thus improving our cultural identity and cultural understanding.
