Purposeand significance of research.
At the end of 2014, Everything I Never Told You written by ChineseAmerican woman writer Celeste Ng became American Amazon's best-selling book inthe last hundred years. In the European and American mainstream literarycircles, Celeste Ng as a Chinese American writer fills the gap. The book mainly describes the experiences and feelings ofeach family number in a family. Among them, the fate of the eldest daughter, Lydia, was the most tragic. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the tragic factorsof Lydia's fate from different perspectives. All of the factors, like communication, affection, family background, atmosphere and personal experience, caused herdeath indirectly. The author's writing is delicate and detailed in thedescription of feelings, details and environmental atmosphere. There is no climaxin the story. Rather, the author describes Lydia's pain from the change of family. This book covers a variety of problems, such as racial integration, genderdiscrimination, tiger mom, and so on. In the process of globalization, culturalintegration and collision are still inevitable topics. The communicationbetween parents and the children also needs to be paid attention to. It is ofgreat practical significance to analyze the tragedy of Lydia.

Reviewof thedomestic and abroad study situation.
As far as its culture and artistryis concerned, Fu Ruchu believes that every detail of the book has beenconsidered by the author. Every image and every detail reflects the wholestory. The author makes the plot very compact. The rhythm is also controlledwell. Zhu Xiaolan and Chen Ziqiong respectively analyze the image of themarginal cultural background and the marginal person in the novel, especiallythe image of the younger daughter Hanna. Lu Mingzhishen and Huo Yan admire theartistry of the novel, at the same time, doubt the unduly binary opposition inthe novel. It is so easy to draw a conclusion that the deep human nature do notshow. They deem that the book cannot arouse the readers' real thinking. As forthe theme of the novel, Liu Changxin appraises Celeste Ng "consciouslycreate with a full perspective of aesthetic feeling...... mix of race, gender, family, personal pursuit of self value, youth crisis, love and other topics".The book witnesses the transition from the perspective of Chinese second-generationimmigrant to full view.
