英语在线课程自主学习现状调查与分析------以武汉理工大学《基础英语4》在线课程为例文献综述

With the rapiddevelopment of information technology and multimedia, and the acceleration ofeducational informatization, online course learning has become one of the mostimportant parts of our human life-long studying. It is vital for participantswho are willing to learn English better to take the opportunity of improvingtheir efficiency in English. Internet no doubt offers various studying resourceto human and much convenience for participants. In the process of learning,participants are able to be more autonomous and independent, and can cultivatepractical ability and deploy fantastic creativity. Meanwhile, at the mid ofonline course learning, participants can not only promote their independentlearning, but also strengthen the ability to communicate and cooperateeffectively with others in this globalized society. It is beneficial forparticipants to stimulate an all-round development and promote the efficiencyand the outcome of learning English. Thus, to promote students’ effectivelearning in online learning environment has become a research hotspot at homeand abroad.
ManyWestern scholars express their different views on the subjects of onlinecourse, especially on the field of the application of online course. Forexample, Andersen B L focuseson, during the run of online course, lifeworld and assemblage collide and enacta cultural authority which sets the benchmark for what is deemed properpractice within a particular MOOC. Tang,Anson C. Y stresses that the online English course helps nursing studentsimprove their English by interactive course design. As we can see, scholarstend to explore the practical application to our daily life, which canexcellently set good examples to build positive link between online course and Englishlearning.
While domestic scholars focus more on manyversatile measures and strategies to improve students studying enthusiasm andinitiative through online course. For instance, Wenjie Zhang puts forward fourmanagement strategies to prove the learner’s participation and to promotelearning participation in online course. Huang Hui tries to construct apromotion strategy model of online learning participation preliminarily underthe bleeding learning environment and put part of the promotion strategy intoteaching practice. And Zhang Yun adopts an empirical study to research theapplication of the blended learning approach in college English teaching, andproposes an interactive mode of blended learning and a mode of blended learningsupport system. There is no doubt that most of them do their utmost to find asolution to the problem connected with students’ learning through online course.
Students’ independent learning is up to two mainfactors, which is exterior and interior factor. Exterior factor consists of teachers’supervision, interactions between teachers and learners, the method of teachingevaluation and the assessments. While interior factor lies in learners’motivation, participation level and the learners’ various needs. These factorsexert different level influence on students’ independent learning. Differentfrom other researches, the positive correlation between students’ independentlearning and online course for students who major in English remains to beexplored. Thus, there is still a lack of analyses and researches of students’independent learning on English through online courses.
{title}2. 研究的基本内容与方案
{title}This paper mainly focuses onthe researches and analyses about how students promote their ability to the independentlearning through online course. It aims to seek the positive correlationbetween independent learning and online course to help arouse students’enthusiasm in independent learning and improve the efficiency in courses. Afterthis exploration, it offers students a more efficient way to acquire more andhelps teachers instruct students in a more efficient way. This paper analyzesthe method resulted by means of questionnaire, interview and observation totest the validity of the analyses and researches. The paper can be illustratedby three steps: First is to identify the targeted objectives (people, subject,timeline and so on), and to prepare the questionnaire. And then questionnairemust be made into practice and collect relevant data. Last but not least, allof those data should be come into analyses and be tested through threesignificant factors: validity, credibility and efficiency. Those data can be madefull use of, if tested effectively. Otherwise, questionnaire must be testedonce again to meet the paper’s objective and author’s demand. Aiming at thosedata, the author should reach at better conclusion and summary. In addition toquestionnaire, interview and observation are resorted to the auxiliary tool toreach the purpose of the paper.
