1 Introduction The main plot of the novel occurs between Elizabeth Bennet and Darcy. Though, it seems that they don't attract anyone's attention. As we all know, in the first ball, when asked to dance up to Elizabeth. He refused. He didn't think anyone in the village would be worthy of him. After that, Elizabeth promised not to pay more attention to him because of his pride. Finally, when all the truth is revealed, Elizabeth regrets. She found that she misunderstood Darcy. Darcy has changed. He asked her again, and was accepted by her. There is no pride and prejudice between them. The novel also reflects the author's own view of marriage: it is wrong to marry for property, money and status. She emphasizes the importance of an ideal marriage and regards the feelings of men and women as the cornerstone of an ideal marriage. It was because of pride and prejudice that I had a deep thought on marriage. The author describes several different marriages in the book with the words of wisdom, each of which reflects the attitude of the people to marriage at that time. Marriage between Jane and Bentley, Elizabeth and Darcy's marriage, Lydia and Wickham's marriage, Sherlock and Collins's marriage can be understood by Elizabeth's point of view. Through the heroine of the wisdom, we see the description of the marriage. It is wrong to marry for riches. This marriage does not maintain long - term happiness. A truly happy marriage is based on love and reason. 2 Literature Review Xu Yongxin (2013) believes that Elizabeth's concept of love in "Pride and Prejudice" reflects Austen抯 attitude towards love and marriage: a marriage simply for money, status, honor or appearance is immoral, but the marriage based on love and care must also consider economic factors, for both love and wealth are indispensable. Chen Yan (2013) believes that Austen describes both the wise part and the unwise part of women when in the choice of marriage. from the novel, it is easy to find that the author keeps stressing the importance of love in marriage and the concept that marriage for money and status is wrong,but not considering the above factors is also stupid. Female consciousness is also another element of Austen's embodiment: women must be eager to act and introspect to catch hope. Dignity and love are indispensable in marriage. At the same time, Austen ,with her delicate feelings, shows her concerns for women in the middle class and the marriage problems they have, just as she said: "To write several homes in the countryside" ,"To paint slowly with a brush, in a small piece of ivory of 2cm wide" , revealing the weakness of human nature, emphasizing the influence of the awakening of female consciousness on marriage. Zhou Yingchun (2011) thinks that although Austen had already been a woman of self-consciousness, she didn't find the way to seek women's freedom and equality, but just wanted to find some men who were different from "ordinary people" who are "self - Awakening" to "give" women freedom. And her view of marriage is but a misunderstanding of marriage, which is hard to work in any time. Their marriage, love, in my opinion, is not the main foundation, mainly a kind of attraction. For Jane's beauty and Bingley, Jane attracts a kind of handsome and Bingley to attract gentry, and their love is more of a mutual admiration of love. Marriage is a complex contract, and both sides must have enough love to maintain the basis of the contract. But the love between Jane and Bentley is too flat. If Elizabeth did not refuse the first courtship of Darcy, perhaps Darcy's infatuation would not last. If there is no denial of dialogue, Darcy, though beautiful and rich, but he is too arrogant. For such a man, even if Elizabeth agreed to marry him, but in the near future, Elizabeth would still regret it. If we don't decline the letter, Elizabeth still thinks that although he is bright, beautiful and frank, but too subjective and prejudiced, Darcy will soon be tired of such a person. Because of these twists and turns, the love between them is more precious and deeper. 5 Conclusion There is no doubt that the love of Elizabeth and Darcy is a bright pearl in the history of literature, and their love is an ideal model for Austen "(Zheng 79). The author's view of marriage: it is wrong to get married for property, money and position. Getting married without considering that above-mentioned factors are unwise ether. So that she objects to get married for money, objects to regarding the marriage as a trifling matter. She emphasizes the importance of an ideal marriage and regards the feelings of men and women as the cornerstone of an ideal marriage. Love is impulsive, no reason, no passion, full of madness. Love itself is madness. How many people, however, can love madly? The reality is cruel, marriage is not equal to love, this ideal is far from us. The marriage between Darcy and Elizabeth is the happiest, with deep love, a necessary condition for Darcy's strong wealth. Money is not secular; wealth is like sunshine and nutrition their marriage which is envied by anyone. If marriage is such a castle, then I would like to be trapped in a city like this, is it not a happiness to be surrounded by love? Personally, pride and Prejudice reflects the feelings of the British in the conservative way at the end of eighteenth Century and early nineteenth Century, and tell us the different ways and attitudes of Bennet's five daughters' marriage. This reflects the author's attitude towards marriage, that is, love and marriage based on money, property and social status are imperfect, and very stupid. We must emphasize the importance of an ideal marriage and oppose love and marriage based on money or property. We must take love or love as the cornerstone of the ideal marriage for men and women. Elizabeth was born in a small family, and loved Darcy. Darcy asked her to marry him regardless of the difference of property and social status, but Elizabeth still refused him because of his pride. So, if Darcy's pride still exists, there would be no love between Elizabeth and him, and there would not be a happy marriage. I don't think arrogance and prejudice are very good. Although everyone can judge according to the way he likes, he can't ignore others. He can like what he likes and hate what he hates, but he should be objective when he treats others. So, I think we should think rationally and thoughtfully, not just according to our wishes. That is to say, we should not have any pride and prejudice in others, especially faced with the person with marriage potential. pride and prejudice will never lead to a fair and objective outcome. However, the above statements do not mean that we should completely ignore economic and social factors. The five sisters?experience in the novel has taught us there is o perfect marriage in the world, but a relatively perfect one is still waiting if we can achieve a extraordinary balance between all the factors.

There are several points in this thesis that contain great value as, which should be presented ahead. In Pride and prejudice, the view of marriage varies from person to person. In previous studies, most of the cases choose to center on women to analyze marriage, but this thesis analyzes views on marriage from these three angles: parents, men and women. Plus, analyzing the social environment that leads to the three types of people's outlook on marriage and their attitude towards the status of money is also included. To continue, researches on women in "Pride and Prejudice" mostly concentrate on the awakening of female consciousness. However, only discussions of the awakening of female consciousness and criticism of women marrying for money is not comprehensive. Women face the choice of ideal and reality in the face of marriage. As a social vulnerable group, their view of marriage has objective reality that they have to consider, which is worth discussing. Also, there are difficulties.For example, it is quite a job for scholars to study the factors affecting the marriage concept of men, so it is difficult to find a large amount of information to make reference. And there are many factors in the choice between the ideal and the reality. It is impossible to cover all the factors, therefore the thesis can only give the answer based on the given factors.
