research objectives:

in the process of booming development of online learning, one of the heated issues that scholars at home and abroad study is learning motivation, which is an important factor affecting learners' participation in online learning. this study will explore the current situation and the types of college students' english learning motivation under the network environment, and then put forward appropriate incentive strategies for college students' english learning motivation based on the advantages of online learning and the difficulties the students face when they learn online.

research contents:

chapter one: introduction, including research background, research significance, research methods and content

chapter two: literature review. it includes the definition of network environment, the definition and classification of college students’ online english learning motivation, the description of relevant theories and the definition of motivation strategies.
